Our coaching staff is uniquely made up of current and former competitive female gymnasts, many at the collegiate level. We love sharing our passion for the sport that has given us so many wonderful experiences and memories with all of our students!
As I enter year 25 of coaching, I've had a lot of experience to reflect on and grow from. Teaching and helping others is just something that has always been a part of me and brings me so much joy! Every. Single. Student. From my Parent & Tot Class to my Xcel Diamonds and Level 9's! I LOVE THEM ALL!
This beautiful lady does it all! You will see her coaching, mentoring, and assisting you with all your needs at the front desk. Her passion for this sport, this program, and ALL of its students is quite evident! She's been with me since the beginning, and has helped to grow this program into what it is today!
With almost 15 years of coaching experience, I am so fortunate to have had Haley on our team since Day 1 of Anchor Gymnastics openning! As a Phys Ed teacher, and former RIC Gymnastics Assistant Coach, she brings a fun, fresh, creative perspectice to our practices! You will never see anything less than her 100% best effort and attitude!
As Cate enters her 3rd year with us at Anchor, she has proven to be an amazing addition and asset to our competitive coaching staff! She is fun and outgoing, and she has a special way of connecting with her athletes that allows her to get the very best out of them. Her ability to take initiative, her willingness to be flexible, and her love for this sport make her a coach that any athlete would be lucky to have!
Kate has been with me since Day 1, coming to me first as an athlete, and shortly thereafter as a member of our coaching staff. Kate has one of the biggest hearts you will find, and she has always had a special way of teaching and connecting with her girls as people first, and athletes second. As an early childhood educator, teaching has always been in her heart, and she is clearly a natural! It has been an absolute pleasure watching her grow as a coach based on her teaching experiences in the classroom, as well as her growth as a teacher because of her coaching experiences here at Anchor.
